Judgement Yard Tribute to H.I.M. On His Royal Earth Strong

Greetings in the Name of His Imperial Majesty Emeperor Haile Selassie I.

In the rich history and cultural tradition of Rastafari, Judgement Yard as keepers of the Rastafari Tabernacle in the world community as well as reggae music hereby officially acknowledge yet another Earth Strong of His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie I.

Haile Selassie I liveth and ruleth and reigns in the heart of all flesh and He has been with I and I rasta youths and youths from those times until this very day without fail or falter.

Judgement Yard has been especially blessed as leaders in the Rasta Nation, and as such, I and I youths from Judgement Yard are charged with the heavy burden of defending the Rasta Nation against ignoble aggression of all heathens and hypocrites whom are found within our own ranks, the white supremacist structure, as well as all forms of crevices and corners.

As Haile Selassie I, The King Of Kings, Lord Of Lords, Conquering Lion Of The Tribe Of Judah was prepared to take up arms in defence of the Rasta Nation, so has Judgement Yard proven over the years that I and I youths of the ghetto possess the same militant spirit exhibited by Haile Selassie I in defence of The Faith against all forms of infringement upon our basic human rights to live and be free. 

The fact that Judgement Yard has demonstrated such militancy over the years in the tradition of the pattern that was set by Selassie I is due to the sole fact that Selassie I is represented in the flesh in each and every rasta youth from Judgement Yard and abroad. That is the reason why I and I rasta youths refer to I and I selves as Rastafari.
 
In the joyous celebration and giving of thanks for another Royal Earth Strong of I and I  Judgement Yard youths Black King, it is a pleasure to bring forth in the spirit of edification and sharing the blessed and sanctified words and meditation of H.I.M. to the Rasta Nation.

                                           H.I.M. SPEAKS ON SELF-DEFENCE

How vital it is that men be jealous of their freedom...

Our unity being Our formidable weapon of defence, it should be kept more strengthened than Our other forces of defence.

It is not the heavy armour but the quality of the citizens that man it that matters.

The value of a flag springs from the sacrifices made to defend it...

Men of honour, wherever they may be, must be vigilant in defence of their freedom, so that they may be spared suffering and humiliation.

No arms, however big or however mighty, can provide solace to a nation. A nation finds comfort, and the freedom of that nation is best protected, through the sacrifice and patriotism of its people.

Even when faced with those who do not relent, continue to demonstrate love and consideration until obliged to resort to self-defence.

Our strength resides not in military might or in economic wealth, but rather, in the cumulative moral influence which We can bring to bear on the peoples and the problems of the world.

If those who would thrust the world into the holocaust of war are to be deterred from aggressive action it can only be by the threat of a counterblow poised to strike should the need arise.

The pages of history are full of instances in which the unwanted and the shunned nonetheless occurred because men waited to act until too late.

We are able to meet the demands of Our time primarily because Our ancestors, besides transmitting to Us the benefits of tradition, had shed their blood to safeguard the independence and territorial integrity of Our nation.

In the dark hours when We and Our people were called upon to fight, We did not fail in Our fierce resolve... We have all earned the right to be proud of that heritage and struggle.

We need no non-African assistance to defend Our soil.

Do not lament when you see a respected and beloved leader fall in the battlefield for the cause of Our freedom. Instead, you must realize that anyone who dies for his country is indeed fortunate.  Death comes to all whether in time of peace or war and takes those it chooses... Our forefathers preserved Our country's independence through the sacrifice of their lives. Let them be your inspiration!

The dead shall rest in peace for their sacrifice in defence of their country has been honoured.

Men will die in defence of principle; men will sacrifice their all rather than compromise themselves and renounce that which distinguishes them from beasts - their moral faculty. If this force in men can be but awakened and focused on the problems of each day, We shall, God willing, survive each day to the dawn of each tomorrow, and in this survival guarantee to Our children and Our children's children a lifetime of peace and security, under justice and right, and under God.

We must save Ourselves so We may be of service to others.

It is better to die with freedom than without it.
